Pallet Racking

In-Stock, All-Welded Selective Pallet Racking, Ready When You Are

JB Equipment is a stocking pallet racking supplier. We keep the most common sizes of all-welded upright frames, load beams, wire mesh decks and safety bars on hand in Richmond Hill, so most projects can be picked up, delivered or installed quickly instead of waiting weeks for production.

Our racking uses the Redi-Rack style connection, the most common style of selective pallet racking in Ontario and across Canada. Need a size we don’t stock? Frames, beams and decks are also made to order in a much wider range of depths, heights, lengths and capacities.

  • In stock and ready to ship: common frames, beams, decks and safety bars on hand
  • All-welded frames: pre-assembled, square and ready to stand up
  • Made-to-order sizes: frames up to 34 ft high and beams up to 192 in long
  • Planned and installed: layouts, engineered drawings, PSRs and professional installation

The Main Components of Selective Pallet Racking

Selective pallet racking is the standard warehouse rack, and it is what most of our customers buy. Every pallet has its own beam level and a clear aisle in front of it, so a forklift can reach any load without moving another one first.

  • Direct access: every pallet can be reached at any time
  • Fits almost anything: any product, pallet size or turnover
  • Used everywhere: warehouses, distribution centres, plants and backrooms
  • Grows with you: easy to reconfigure and add bays later
  • Four core parts: frames, beams, decks and safety bars, all stocked

Other Styles of Racking Systems

Selective racking is not the right fit for every load. For long material, higher density or product flow, we also supply and install these systems.

Why we stock all-welded frames

Every upright frame we stock arrives pre-assembled, with the bracing welded to the columns at the factory. That means a stronger, squarer frame, faster installation and no bolts to check or re-tighten.

  • Arrive ready to stand up, with no frame assembly on site
  • Welded bracing stays square and rigid under load
  • Fewer loose parts and faster installation
  • Beams lock in on 3 in increments with safety clips

Bolted (knock-down) frames are available on request, but we recommend and stock all-welded.

Choose your racking layout

The same frames and beams build three common selective layouts. We’ll help you pick the right one for your forklifts and products.

Single selective

The most common layout. Every pallet can be reached directly from the aisle, making it ideal for many SKUs, mixed products and fast-moving stock.

Best for: most warehouses

Double deep

Two rows placed back to back and stored two pallets deep. Using standard selective parts and a deep-reach forklift, it cuts aisle space and adds storage.

Best for: several pallets per SKU

Very narrow aisle (VNA)

Selective racking set up with much narrower aisles for guided reach trucks or order pickers. You get more storage in the same building while keeping every pallet selective.

Best for: maximum density with full access

Accessories that complete your racking

Protect your racking, your people and your product. Our pallet racking accessories include upright protectors, row connectors, back-of-rack safety netting, wire back guards, plastic shims, wedge anchors and more.

Pallet racking questions

Not sure where to start? Call (905) 883-0316 and we’ll walk you through it.

Will your racking work with my existing racking?

Our racking uses the Redi-Rack style connection, the most common selective style in our market. It only connects to other Redi-Rack style racking, so send us a photo of your frame and beam connector and we will confirm whether it matches.

What sizes do you keep in stock?

We stock the most common frame depths and heights, box and step beam lengths, wire mesh decks and universal safety bars. See each part for the in-stock list. Other sizes are made to order.

How do I choose the right beam?

Start with the heaviest pallet weight per level and the bay width. Each pair of beams must carry the total load on that level. Send us your pallet weights and we will recommend the right beam with your quote.

Do you install racking?

Yes. We install new systems and expand or reconfigure existing Redi-Rack style racking, with engineered drawings and PSRs available for Ontario projects.

Do you sell bolted frames?

Bolted (knock-down) frames are available on request. We recommend and stock all-welded frames because they arrive square, ready to install and with no bolts to maintain.
