Ideal for both full-carton and individual parts picking, carton flow racking turns ordinary pallet racking or shelving into a fast, first-in, first-out pick face. Cartons and totes are loaded from the back and glide forward by gravity, so pickers always have product at the front. No power, no maintenance and no special tools to install.
How it works
The beam on the picking side is set slightly lower than the loading side to create a gentle slope. Pre-assembled flow tracks or full-width wheel beds hang between the beams on factory-installed brackets. Restock from the back aisle, pick from the front, and stock rotates automatically.
- Converts static racking in two simple steps
- Separate loading and picking aisles
- Up to 90% space utilization in dense pick zones
- Less walking, searching and manual handling
- Brackets suit box beams, step beams and structural beams

Two styles to choose from

Roller track flow
Individual tracks fitted with a continuous row of aluminum rollers in sturdy side profiles. Space the tracks to suit each carton or tote, and set the roller pitch to match your product. Great for totes, trays and cartons of mixed sizes.
Tracks 36 to 144 in long · 6, 9, 12 or 15 in wide

Full-width wheel bed
Rows of polycarbonate wheels on galvanized steel axles that span the full bay. Any carton width can go anywhere on the bed, so it’s an economical, flexible way to retrofit existing selective racking.
Any length · up to 500 lb on a 90 in module

Allowable loads drop as the free span between beams gets longer. Tell us your carton sizes, weights and rack depth and we’ll confirm the right track, pitch and span.
Galvanized channel flow tracks
For heavier, steady-flow picking, flow tracks are also available in roll-formed galvanized steel channels fitted with polypropylene or steel rollers on riveted steel axles. Each lane is set at a calculated angle so cartons move automatically from the restocking side (charge) to the picking side (discharge), giving order pickers and assemblers an uninterrupted supply of product.
- Rollers on riveted steel axles for long service life
- Entry and exit beams with a built-in track locating channel
- Tracks and dividers adjust in 2 in horizontal increments for fast, accurate placement
Choosing the roller pitch
- 1 in pitch for small items shorter than 3 in
- 2 in pitch for most cartons and totes
- 3 in pitch for items longer than 12 in

Carton flow projects

Can carton flow go into my existing racking?
Yes. Both styles mount on standard box beams, step beams and structural beams. Lower the front beam to create the slope, then drop in the pre-assembled tracks or beds.
Which style should I choose?
Roller tracks suit mixed or heavier totes and let you set the lane width for each product. Wheel beds are an economical full-bay option that accepts any carton width anywhere on the bed.
What do you need for a quote?

Do you install it?
Yes. Our crew can supply and install carton flow along with new or existing pallet racking anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area.
