Tips for Choosing Tray Carts
- Count your shelvesTwo shelves suit bulky items; three to five shelves sort small parts by job or order.
- Check shelf clearanceTwo-shelf carts have 25-7/8 in between shelves, while five-shelf carts have 11-3/4 in.
- Choose steel or plasticSteel carts carry the most weight. Plastic carts are quieter and will not dent or rust.
- Size the castersLarger pneumatic or polyurethane casters roll easier over rough floors and heavy loads.
- Keep paperwork with the loadOrder carts have a sloped paper holder so orders travel with the parts.
- Need a platform sometimes?The removable-shelf cart converts from a two-level cart to a platform truck.
