Starter + Add-On: Build Any Run
Begin with one Starter unit, then extend it with as many Add-On units as you need. Add-Ons share posts with the unit beside them using S-hooks, so long runs use fewer posts and less floor space.

Wire Shelving FAQ
What is the difference between Starter and Add-On units?
A Starter unit is a complete, free-standing unit with four posts. An Add-On unit has two posts and uses S-hooks to share the posts of the unit beside it, so a long run of shelving costs less and takes up less space.
How much weight can wire shelving hold?
Our heavy-duty chrome and green epoxy units carry up to 2,000 lb per stationary unit, with shelves rated 600 to 800 lb depending on width. Standard-duty units carry up to 1,000 lb. All ratings are for evenly distributed loads.
Chrome or green epoxy: which finish should I choose?
Chrome is ideal for dry areas such as stockrooms, offices and warehouses. Green epoxy is the better choice for walk-in coolers, freezers, food prep, greenhouses and other damp or wet areas where rust resistance matters.
Do I need tools to assemble wire shelving?
No. Plastic split sleeves snap onto the grooves on each post, and the shelves slide down over the sleeves and lock in place. Shelves adjust in 1″ steps whenever your storage needs change.
Can wire shelving be made mobile?
Yes. Choose one of our ready-made shelf carts, push carts or utility carts, or add 5″ casters to a stationary unit. Casters are available with or without brakes.
Do you install wire shelving?
Yes. Our own crews install wire shelving and just about anything else warehouse related across the GTA and southern Ontario, on projects big and small. We also ship across Canada.
