Product overview
Skate wheel conveyor is the lightest and most economical way to move cartons by gravity. Rows of free-spinning wheels carry light packages with very little push, and the low weight of each section makes it easy to pick up, move and reposition. It is a popular choice for truck loading, packing benches, order picking and any area where the layout changes often.
Construction and features
- Wheels: 1.9 in diameter steel wheels with ball bearings running in a hardened raceway, lubricated for life
- Optional wheels: corrosion-resistant coated steel, or black plastic for very light loads
- Frame: 2-1/2 in deep, 12 gauge formed steel channel with welded cross members
- Axles: 1/4 in diameter, threaded with lock nuts
- Wheel capacity: 65 lbs per steel wheel or 20 lbs per plastic wheel
- Matching 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° curves with a 36 in inside radius
- Supports, stands and mobile bases available to set your working height

Where skate wheel conveyor works best
- Light cartons and totes with flat, firm bottoms
- Truck and container loading and unloading
- Portable lines that are set up and taken down often
- Choose a roller conveyor instead for soft, uneven or heavier items, or for permanent lines
